Search Consultant
Paola came to Brakeley Search as a Search Consultant, after more than a decade of experience in the non-profit sector. Her strong interest in non-profits and health programs directed for children in low-income communities, led her to California, where she most recently worked for Rotaplast, directing operations, and successfully launching nearly 100 international medical missions in 24 countries. She has also served in the Board of Global Pediatric Alliance, a non-profit in San Francisco with presence in Mexico and Guatemala.
Paola started her career in 1998 as Program Associate in the United Nations Development Program located in Guatemala, where she grew up. In 2004 and after graduating with a degree in Marketing from Universidad Rafael Landivar in Guatemala City, she moved to Miami to pursue an M.B.A. from Keller School of Management in Miami, FL. She is also a Certified Diversity Sourcing Professional (CDSP) and a Certified People Sourcing Professional (CPSP). In addition to English, she speaks Spanish and German.
Outside of the office, she likes to bake, and enjoy all the outdoor spaces the Bay Area has to offer, and can be found exploring new parks and trails, or going on bike rides with her husband and 6- and 8-year-old daughters. She currently resides in San Francisco, CA.
